I support The Office for the Whistleblower because:
So many children were abused and neglected by the system. Co-workers knew the abusers but didn’t speak out and yet if they had a mandatory obligation to report (and be protected) so many adults abused in childhood will never know who they would have become without the abuse they suffered. -

Kenneth McPhail
With over 40 years of experience in the energy sector, I have never hesitated to challenge practices that compromise safety. However, my efforts to expose organisational failings that led to catastrophic incidents in one company, were obstructed by toxic leadership.
The support I was offered proved insincere and ultimately, I was dismissed for refusing to sign a NDA. I firmly support the establishment of an Office of the Whistleblower, providing genuine support for those who speak up, rather than leaving them to endure the indignities imposed by certain organisations and their legal teams.
