Today is one of those days that we will never forget as it brings the reality of an #OfficeOfTheWhistleblower a step closer. Although it’s ironic that this long over due and hard fought legislation has taken so long to get to this stage. Something that is unlikely to be wasted on our meeting this afternoon. Because from 1730 we will be in committee Room 8 with Rachel Gilmour MP running the penultimate session of #WAM2026. Meeting and hearing from #whistleblowers including Dr Chris Day, Zelda Perkins CBE, Sangy (Sangeetha) Theivendra and many others. Please join us.

Today is a day for the families the victims and the campaigners who like us cannot commend the energy and tenacity of everyone enough but especially the indefatigable Ian Byrne.
Today is momentous and we look forward to Part2 and will continue to press for clauses that will complete the circle and lead to an #OfficeOfTheWhistleblower because without protection, whistleblowers remain vulnerable regardless of their #DutyOfCandour – until we have this this bill has a hole that leaves many people vulnerable.
